The Panthers were my U-8 girls team. The season is over but we had a great year. We played a total of 13 games, eight in the fall and 5 in the spring, and we finished the season with a record of 13-0.

I want to congratulate the girls on a job well done and let everyone know how proud I am of each and every girl. I can tell that everyone learned a lot over the course of the season and I hope everyone had fun.

We lost three girls from our fall season, Abigayle L., Merscedez, and Adeline. We gained two new girls in the spring, Alex Roberts and Jo Jo Sandefur. I also want to take this opportunity to thank Donnie Moore for being my assistant over the past two years. I look forward to working with him in the future. I also want to take this time to thank all of the parents for getting the girls to the practices and games and for their support throughout the entire season.

My daughter, Kathryn, will be moving up to the U-10 league this fall so I will be moving up too. For those that will be in the U-8 again next year, I wish you the best of luck and I want you to keep in touch so I know how you are doing. For those of you that will be moving up to the U-10 league I'll be seeing you in just a couple of months. Finally, to those that are not going to continue playing soccer, I wish you the best in everything you do and I also want you to keep in touch.
